That's correct, @jon99blue . You can't use the EE app with a BT router& you no longer have access to your MyBT app.

No, @KeithRuland , the EE app does not work with BT routers, only the latest EE routers.

I was going to ask the same question actually. I came over from BT to EE but I wasn't given a EE hub and still have the BT one. I can't connect to that I don't think using the MyBT app or whatever it was called and from the reply above can't use the EE app to connect to it either.

Is that correct? Can I use the EE app wifi controls?

@XRaySpeX  That is not correct My BT will work with a BT Smart Hub 2 on EE. Some of the functionality changes as you are now receiving an EE service. I am currently using an EE Smart Hub Plus which works with the EE App, however the quickest way of getting to my EE account no is to open up the My BT App.

Thank you, I wish the sales guy on the phone had told me all of that.

So presumably the wifi controls part of the EE app won't therefore work nor the app speed test?

@Ewan15 When using your MyBT app, did you make any change app wise to specifically see and manage the EE account, or did the BT account just get dropped and you no longer can see that? Had a OP posting i replied to where no longer access to see his old billing, but it states that supposed to be able to see that for 12 months from the switch service BT - EE.

This whole app thing is up in the air at present, EE app is certainly improving just wish it was all as a web interface but you can't have all you wishes!🙄

Thanks. There still seems to be some confusion. Typical BT. perhaps someone at EE could give a definitive answer?

Of course, @Ewan15 , MyBT works with the BT SH2 running on EE, but not when you no longer have access to MyBT. That's what I was pointing out.

@JimM11  My original BT account just changed in the MY BT app to my EE one. If I use the BT Smart Hub 2 I can run speed tests within the MY BT app.

@XRaySpeX  If I want to use the BT Smart Hub 2 with my current EE broadband I use the My BT app, if I want to use the EE Smart Hub Plus I use the EE App instead.

I transferred from BT to EE some months ago

Hope this clarifies
