The app when viewed on iPhone is as good as useless. I have previously set up the smart hub, 3 smart WiFi plus devices and the smart hybrid hub. When I go into the app sometimes they appear and most of the time it’s like I have nothing set up apart from the hub. It does not seem to remember all the devices so it wants to set up new devices. Wish I had stayed on my old bt network and kit as at least that worked. Anyone else having issues and is there any fix that does not involve throwing it out of the window?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi there @Lest44
Thanks for coming back to the community.
Have you tried deleting and re-installing the app, to see if this helps?
If the app continues to forget the device, please get in touch with our broadband tech guides to get this investigated.
Thanks 🙂
Leanne.

@Lest44 You may have a little more success if you use the Web Manager interface to the EE Smarthub+ if that is what you are using, http://192.168.1.254 will get you there, phone app is about as much use as a chocolate teapot at times, especially with it all tied into accounts/web or whatever to get things done!

Thanks Leanne, that seems to have worked, but was a bit confusing as it was expecting I was setting up the whole network from new so it as was talking about transferring from old hub etc again. I kind of pushed it through and on first connection it found everything. However will see how it goes as it worked ok the first time before but then seems to have gone downhill from then on. EE need to sort it out and maybe just use the direct IP web manager instead.
