Hello
I have just ordered the 1.6Gbs broadband. I was told they couldn’t add on a TV package and that once the kit arrived and activation has taken place I can then phone up and add-on the TV.
I read on another older post that you can’t get TV with the 1.6Gbs broadband. Does anyone know if this has changed?
Thanks

No, you can't get EE TV or DV with the 1.6 Gig plan yet. It's a diff provisioning system of EE's.

Really hope it’s available soon. I only moved from BT to EE because I called about 1.6 gbps. Because it’s available at my address. I had the TV package with BT and wanted to keep it. Was told that it wasn’t going to be long and I’d get emailed when available. So I moved across as they said it should be November which was a month away. Still nothing.

I spoke to a chap yesterday in the Belfast call centre.
He said they have been told it should be early in the new year (i.e., soon) but he just doesn’t have a date as yet.
He also said we would be contacted as soon as it’s available.
For now I am going to carry on with my Sky TV packages. I am out of contract with the Sky TV and paying far too much. However, I need to wait for EE because if I make a change at Sky I will be tied into a new 24 month contract, which I don’t want.

Putting as solved as the TV whilst not available now it should be in the next few months.

Having gone to the EE Broadband package website and checked what packages are available in my area, It appears you can now pick Digital Voice services with the 1.6 GB options, however still no TV😞

@Ewan15 Baby steps you don't want to much of a cluster flock at the same time and having DV blame TV and TV blame DV when none off it works out! Then again they can always say it's the fault off the app when nothing works.
