Can I add digital voice to an existing EE broadband contract?

When I moved from BT to EE I did not think  that I needed a landline so set the new contract up without digital voice. I now think I do  need one but I cannot seem to find out how this might happen. Will I need to upgrade to a new contract even though I don’t think it adds to the price ? Or wait until this contract ends? If you can point me in the right direction I will be very grateful.

many thanks in anticipation

I have a package without a home phone and in the EE app under Manage my Broadband there is the option "Get Home Phone" which takes you to a page listing the costs of £5pm pay per call (33p + 21p/min) or £18pm unlimited UK calls. I can get a mobile package with unlimited calls for £5pm so this offer does not appeal to me.

@northwest Probably best you call EE CS and do it that way, all kinds off blocks for customers that are deemed new even though you are a BT to EE conscript... And it will add to the price no matter what and do consider taking a call package or it get's very expensive very fast!

Not sure what the blocks to new customers mean? Had no alternative but to move to EE.

It sounds as though it won’t be as simple as just trying to add it onto my existing broadband package- is that correct? I think I assumed that I would just be able to add it as an additional product ( albeit yes paying for calls etc). I rather regret not having done so when I had the opportunity on changing to EE but on my old BT contract you could easily manage the add ons of different products by simply putting in an order online. I cannot see that option with EE.

@northwest Welcome to EE they are not BT and do not do the same as your old system did! "Probably best you call EE CS and do it that way"

They do not make it easy in the slightest or most easiest way!
