Broadband renewal

I moved a few months ago, and took my broadband with me. Does a home move renew the contract? I didn’t realise I did and now I have over a year left. I’m looking to move again in a few months but I don’t want to have another renewal of contract?

Hi @Babybluesmartie  and welcome to the forum.

It will depend on what you agreed when you moved.

Sometimes there are moving charges that can be waived if you take out a new contract, or you could have paid the move charges and kept your original contract date.

This should have been sent to you via email.

Yes, a BB Home Move entails a new contract & min. term. Other than that the move is completely free.

I had a look through my emails, found the confirmation for the home move but no mention of renewal of contract which is why I didn’t realise.
if and when I do move, I’ll discuss with them.

Thank you
