Is it normal to suffer poor broadband signal in a heatwave (on 2nd day) when last years (2025) four heatwaves didn't cause broadband issues? I've had this broadband for just over 2 years.

@Farmer13 Are the unit/unit's in direct sunlight, If so that may cause the Hub to be slow down a little. Not seeing anything here but in the North Bonnie Scotland FF500 and running full tilt on OR connection with vodafone Broadband now.

TV & broadband hubs are in the shade with a large floor fan in that direction, pretty cool in the room. 2 out of 4 CCTV cameras won't connect or open in their app.

@Farmer13 Is it the CCTV camera's that are external and getting hot then?

Maybe right for one of them. The other is in the shade under a small roof by front door, that never gets sunlight.

@Farmer13 It's maybe just ambient temp up even though it's all in the shade, someone did just post a FW update and all IOT devices dropped off, but they recovered a day or so latter, if you have had this effect before on hot day's stands to reason may just be the same....

Hi @Farmer13
Never had any issues with heat tbh. Unless there is an issue with your router then it shouldn't be impacted.
@JimM11 stay safe in Scotland with the sun. 🌞
Thanks

Never had this happen before. We had 4 heatwaves last year, definitely hotter than today on some of them and never an issue with any external camera. Two are fine but in the sun and are the newest purchased, third one is constantly in the shade and the fourth is in the sun. Just had issues connecting to the 2 oldest ones. The 2 internal cameras are have low signal issues and one of them is in the shade. Luckily with 9 fans on inside the house it's pretty cool.

Hi @Farmer13,
Welcome to the Community!
Do you have any other devices connected to your broadband service that don't seem to be affected, or is everything that uses this broadband connection having trouble?
