I reported a fault when my broadband froze and my router light went white (smart hub plus) for a few hours((7 days ago)) it's now back on, however the EE APP says There is still a fault ongoing on the smart hub plus section and also my WiFi enhancer says it's broke and your fixing it. it's been like this about a week now. since the problem bothy Xbox and playstation had about a 250 to 300 ms ping when hooked up wired and a 60 ms ping when hooked up wireless up from 10 to 14 ms for both. pimg speeds I've had for at least 5 years. I should mention I've been with EE only for a few months as I've switched from BT. my upload on consoles he's recently shot up to 120mb. it's always been 10 to 15 mb even though I'm on fastest , and my down is 1.2 GB up from 900mb. I believe the increase in speed is what's slowing down the ping wired as the exchange can't cope with speeds even though I'm fttp it's done through the old phone line posts so ... how do I fix it??? I've reset, checked all port setting changed all the ethernet cables checked changed and ried various port settings, assigned new address incase of conflict but everything is still messed up. it's no good having fast speed when you ping is 300 ms. I wondered if it could be my geo filter but as WiFi enhancer is down I can't check it or remove my devices from it and on top I'm still being charged even though it's broke I'm really regretting changing to you I'm afraid BT was a LOT less hassle I never needed to forward ports ever on BT. running three xboxs on EE is almost impossible to get open NAT on each one.
