EE helps me capture the BAFTA red carpet look perfectly!

The EE BAFTAs 2018 took place last night, and boy was it a night to remember. From Olivia Palermo to Jourdan Dunn, the red carpet was full of all of my fave A-listers. Many of the stars stepped out in black to support the Time’s Up movement, while Frances McDormand took home the award for Best Actress, and Lily James wore the best Burberry dress I’ve ever seen. Of course, it was the outfits I was most interested in – not least because I’m obsessed with fashion, but because of the addition of the world’s first 4G Style Scanner that meant I could recreate my favourite red carpet outfits on the high street the second the stars reached the Royal Albert Hall.

You might have read my piece on EE’s 4G Style Scanner here, but I never imagined how excited it would make me until it actually happened. I had already made sure I followed @ee on Instagram before the event took place so that I was poised and ready for the red carpet to begin, and I could start my search for my fave looks.

It didn’t take long. It was Lydia Bright‘s outfit that I loved the most, and thanks to the new ‘4GEE Style Scanner’, all I had to do was swipe up as the look went live on the @ee Instagram stories feed. Sure enough, I was presented with a load of affordable options that looked exactly like the original. Seriously, even I couldn’t tell the difference between Pretty Little Things’s number and the one Lydia Bright actually wore by designer Anuko. I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw it only cost £28. I’ll be wearing mine with black courts at my next office party. See? The new @ee technology really is something else, don’t you agree?
