Hi, just got myself a apple watch, with contract that is the same number as my phone, do i have to put a sim card in to the watch to use seperate to my phone. It wont allow me to use mobile data at present on the watch.
The Apple Watch has no physical sim, it has a built in sim (eSim).
The Apple Watch needs its only data plan for it to work separate from the Apple Watch. Usually to set this up, you need to go through the Mobile Data setup on the Watch app on your iPhone.
