Upgrade query

Hey,

So i have a massive problem... im due an upgrade next month (can get an early one now but prefer to wait for contract to end) but only problem is my father is the main account holder so it’s technically his contract but i pay for it as its my phone so all details linked to account are mine apart from his name but ive been told i cant cancel my upgrade when it finishes and get my own contract without his say so which is going to be abit hard seeing as he has disowned me nearly 2 years ago now but let me stay on the contract as i was paying it but i cant contact him in anyway to get the contract cancelled... i dont know what to do as im due upgrade on the 13th april but also due to give birth the 14th april so im panicking that im not going to have anything and im going to be stuck in this contract and not be able to get anything as its all down at his address... please can anyone give me some advice or something please as im stressing out so bad over this

Welcome to the community. Congratulations on your pregnancy. 🙂

For you to take ownership of the contract and be able to upgrade it, your father would have to contact us to say that that's OK. It sounds like that could be quite difficult for you though.

You could take out a new contract with a new number. If you know anyone that can pass a message on to him to cancel the contract, it would be in his interest if you were to stop the payments. It sounds like the contract is in his name, so it's his responsibility to cancel it.
