Upgrade - New SIM Activated?

Twiga3

I received my upgraded phone & new SIM. I have put the new SIM in, but I don't think it's activated as I wasn't asked for my phone number or a PIN number? No indication that anything has changed on the phone?

Hi Jon

Thanks for your reply.

I spoke to a lovely guy on EE help line and he discovered that for some reason the SIM hadn't registered.....so he sorted it out and all's ok.

My old SIM card was not the right size so his help was invaluable.

I'd had my fabulous little Galaxy Ace4 for years and years and loved it, but gradually its limitations were becoming an issue and the battery kept failing so it was time to move on.

I'm finding the new, much bigger phone a bit confusing at the moment, but I'm sure I will get the hang of it......I hope!

Thanks again.

Hi @Twiga3.

Welcome to the community.

Does your old SIM card fit in your new phone?

If it does, you can use your old SIM as normal.

We send a new SIM in case your old one wouldn't fit in your new phone, and in this case the new SIM would need to be registered.
