Hi, I have purchased a product online called  ThePhotoStick for my android Huawei Pro 20 mate. The Photostick is used to download photos from the phone, which can then be uploaded on to the computer. My question is: although at time of purchase l was assured the photostick was comparable with my phone, l cannot get it to work. I have since purchased a micro USB connector, still doesn't work. Can anyone help? Thanks.

You should be able to transfer pics from a mobile to a PC using a USB connection w/out the need for any gadgets.

  1. Connect the mobile to PC by a USB cable.
  2. Look in Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac) for a top-level folder with name of your mobile model.
  3. Open it & then open the folder DCIM.
  4. There lies your photos.

The Photo Stick is for backing up photos already on a computer not transferring them from a phone to a computer.

(It’s also rather unnecessary as it’s basically just a memory stick)
