Tablet unlocking pin forgotten

I have a tablet which we haven’t used for some time and none of the family can remember what we set the pin as to unlock it. Is there a way of resetting the device back to factory settings without knowing the pin.

No factory reset I'd the o my way if you can't remember the pin.

Can you do factory re set without knowing the pin though?

Hi @Shelley8.

 

You can try to reset it, but most devices will require you to enter the pin to be able to complete the reset.

 

What make/model is it?
