Hi
Has anybody else noticed that the S21 Ultra seems to be slower and more unreliable with data? I am finding that the latency on the S21 is twice that of a neighbouring (within 30 cm) of a S10. Speed average for the same period are shocking. The S21 is a lot slower generally and uploads are particuarly poor - approaching unusable.
I tested using apps, Speedtester.net and ThinkBroadband. Different locations. Phones next to each - both SIMs capable of normally recieving 4G+ speeds - peaking around 130mbps.
The S21 Ultra can reach high speeds but it's much less consistent and reliable on my phone.
Thanks.

Just come off chat. They had me reset my data settings. Seems to have improved mine for now but they also said no one else has reported this problem

Will give it a go. Thanks. Do you mean the network settings? If so, sadly didn't help me.
Does your latency seem to have improved too? 190ms is what I'm getting compared to half that in a S10+. 😞
Definitely seems to be an issue for at least some customers. Just don't think most users are relying on 4G as much so not noticing.

Load speed is better. Not so much lag as before. Obviously an issue though. I will be returning my device and changing to something new if it reoccurs
Phone is poor compared to my Huawei P30 Pro mate

Exact same situation with me same phone previous really quick speeds but now with the s21 ultra and can't believe how slow it is not happy with it at all, I've had it replaced with a new sim and still shocking 😑

That's 3 people I know who have returned the S21 Ultra over 4G upload speeds and had a 'replacement' that has exactly the same issues.
Sadly Samsung aren't recognising this problem, yet.
It's not effected by:
network (o2 is the same)
cases
factory reset
apps
phone settings
If Samsung aren't quick this could end up the S21's equivalent of Samsung exploding batteries! I think when lockdown ends and more people move away from WiFi to 4G, networks like EE as well as Samsung will face an unprecedented returns of the S21 at this rate.
