Hello,
I currently own a 46mm Galaxy watch 4G which I bought from Ebay as a brand new item. I am not on EE so the LTE 4G side has never been set up.
I am looking at taking out a contract with EE with a new Samsung S20+.
In doing so, I am eligible for a Galaxy watch contract including a new watch for a £20 upfront cost at £12 p/month.
Will the watch come ready synced to my new S20 account or would this be something I need to do?
What I am considering is whether to sell the brand new Galaxy watch on Ebay for around £200 and set my older watch up on the account or sell the older watch for around half the price and keep the new one.
If I never even open the box for the new Galaxy watch is this ever going to be linked to my account and will I have any issues in using my older watch on the EE contract? I would be paying the monthly fee for the watch use regardless.
I am aware they do an option to link an existing watch for £7 a month but I think selling a new watch would cover the majority of the contract cost effectively having the contract for free?
Thanks
Jamie

You would not be able to sell the watch straight away, as EE’s terms and conditions say the device belongs to EE for the first 6 months of the contract.
