Poor first impressions, poor: instruction, registration & still cant top up data

What a poor first impression of EE.

I have my data sim it took 2 hrs to get it registered properly.. please sort your poor misleading and inaccurate instructions for registering a new sim and making a new device active.

Secondly I am unable to top up my sim and I think you will now have taken maybe three lots of payments from my card as a direct impact of your system not registering the credit I have made to my ee account.

Your online chat is not accessible, and your customer service is blocked, probably with other unhappy customers.. this is not far off as bad as Three!

  1. See How can I top up my phone?
  2. Live chat is not available for PAYG. Phone CS is answering but you need to be patient in the current climate.

You really think I didn’t read that?

i made 5 attempts to top up all failed via the device on android.. in the end I had to install ee app on my iPhone and make my credit using the iPhone.

Then I was unable to add the add-on because it’s not available in the app and the web page takes you to a useless page that doesn’t have the add-on on it. Eventually I got the addon by a different route on the web via a button that says buy, genius!!

The setup you have is a proverbial sh** sh*w and is beyond acceptable for a customer facing system.

Great first impression.

I've no idea what you've read previously or not. Many hadn't until directed!
