Hi all
I’ve just joined EE and the reason I did was because I wanted to use my Apple Watch 6 with cellular which I bought separately and get a watch data plan which I believe is £5 extra a month.
I also didn’t need a new phone so looked at sim only plans and thought I’d go for the pay as you go sim and buy a £15 pack to begin with before moving onto a pay monthly sim only deal if wanted to after trying the pay as you go plan.
All as gone well with exception that when I go to set up a Apple Watch data plan it says I cannot set up with the price plan I have...... I didn’t see anything about not being able to have a Apple Watch data plan on a pay as you can pack as a add on so is this correct?
many thanks

You need a pay monthly plan in order to add an Apple Watch plan onto your account.
It is covered here on the series 5 page. There doesn’t seem to be a series 6 equivalent that I can find at the moment but it’s been the case for every cellular watch on EE

@NM54 , Until you get a sim only plan contract, you can still use your watch via bluetooth, just not cellular as @greenbadger has written, the cellular part of the watch is not available on pay as you go or flex plans.

Thank you I’ll sort out a pay monthly sim out then. Thanks for replying 👍
