New ipad

Hi I've ordered a new ipad a few days ago and received the email to say it was on its way. I've had no text message and just checked my order status and it says its on backorder. Can you please let me know what this means and how long it will take to arrive.

It was an ipad 2020 in green. I think it is either a 32 or 64gb. X
