Ive ordered a phone with £0.00 upfront cost but below it says £50.00 deposit I'm confused

@Jack56 you’ll probably find that so roaming is enabled on your account if you don’t want to pay this just call customer services and they will refund or remove it depending on if you've paid it.

But what I need to know why is says 50.00 deposit when it was no mentioned when I applied and also my friend got a phone and it wasn't mentioned to them. And if I dont pay it will it cancel my handset

Welcome to the community.
As @Chris_B said, it sounds like a roaming deposit. You should have been advised about this at the start of the contract.
If you don't need roaming for the next couple of months, I'd recommend speaking to our Mobile Care team so that they can remove roaming and the deposit.
