I just upgraded my iPad Pro to a monthly 5GB rolling data sim.
I was looking to see if I could gift data from my phone to my iPad like I was able to do on my 20GB iPad plan but it doesn’t give me the option. It doesn’t show my iPad number as being a number to gift data to.
How can I gift data from my phone to my ipad?

You can't gift to a 4GEE data SIM on a 30-day rolling contract.

That seems a bit stupid - I can tether my phone to the iPad and as I am on an unlimited plan that means I can use 100GB - which I would never come close to using.
Up until I upgraded this plan I was using 20GB on the iPad and another 10GB gifted.
I simply do not want to get stuck in a contract for 12 months when I can tether.

When tethering your iPad to your phone you may use up to 1000GB of your unlimited data. Tethering is not gifting data.

Yes I realise that. My point was it has the same effect as gifting.
So that restriction makes little sense.

@spinstorm Unfortunately it’s only available to 12/18/24 month contracts. While it make no sense to you as you can tether to use the data EE can not make one rule for you and a different rule for other customers who have a 30 day rolling contract used in a phone.

By tethering you may use up to 1000 GB data but by being gifted you may only use up to the first 100 GB of all the data.
