Cannot order 'Good as New' phone as upgrade via EE phone support

Hi

 

Just called EE to enquire about upgrades to two of the pay monthly phones on our account. The phones we are considering are available as 'Good as New' but the support person I spoke to told me they can only provide brand new phones - Good as New can only be ordered online. If this is the case, when did the policy change? We have always been able to do this in the past.

 

I wouldn't object to ordering online, but I have a longstanding 20% discount on my account and was told this has to be reapplied over the phone (so I'd be concerned about losing it if ordering online).

@h0race  good as new devices have only ever been available online.  Your discount will remain but to check this you will have to speak with customer services first.
