Bit confused on how the smartwatch plan works based on the terms and conditions

In the T&C's it only states two types of plans, personal paired and family plan, and it says on the personal it must be always paired with your phone to work as the plans don't have text/calls allowances.

It also says if your phone is switched off you won't receive text messages.

So if my phone battery is drained and died until needs charging does that mean I can't use the watch for certain things?

If I'm out and left phone at home and want to make a call or send text can i still do that without issues?

@walkerx  You can call and receive calls you can not text or receive texts.   The message centre number is on your phone not the watch.  The phone has to be on even if the watch isn’t with you to receive/send texts.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
