Apple watch

I have just added onto my bill a apple watch which i am paying for for my girlfriend for Christmas, the apple watch is what i will be paying for but i am just wondering if she will be able to connect that to her phone and not mine, i did do the family bundle thing which means it gets a separate phone number but can this apple watch still connect to her phone? need help

@Brandon_V123   Just so you know to setup the watch as it’s a independent device you have to set this up via a iPhone that’s on EE I assume that’ll be you.  You’ll be the account controller of the device and you’ll be able to setup who the device can call/text and receive.  

family Apple Watch plans are really aimed at parents so they can give a Apple watch to their child, so then they can track their child get in contact with their child and control everything that the child can do with that watch.    

to receive calls/texts on the watch when the iPhone is left behind the caller/sender will need to use the number of the watch and not the number of the phone.    The watch is sorted of like a phone on your wrist when it’s setup to use a family plan.   But it will work as normal when connected to a iPhone.
