Apple watch Data INELIGBLE Just rejoined EE but will cancel as service so poor

EE should hang their heads in shame, no return promised calls and no response to 3 emails.

Just taken out 3 24 month contracts with EE

ONLY reason to change from Virgin was to use data plans on 2 Apple 6 watches

I have the message that the internet is litered with EE members pulling their hair out, it seems for 3 or 4 years EE cannot get to grips with this.

Message "Your EE account is ineligble to enable mobile data on your Apple watch. Contact EE etc"

I have seen so many posts and the general concensus is best of luck!! you need to strike lucky with getting someone at level 2 whao actually undersatnd the problem. Level 3 is the only way.

I knew I was being fobbed off on Friday, promised a call back today (Monday) but knew it was not going to materialise. It Has Not!

Sent three emails to the person I was speaking to who arranged the level 2 putting me through. No Replies 😞

I will need tocancel these 3 contracts before the 14 days, sooner actually due to the watches otherwise I'm massively out of pockecet.

Have been told I have lines available to me, I am eligble and it should be working.

This IS an admin thing as untill the message of "INELIGBLE etc" disappears there is ZERO chancee of moving forward!

I will lose the will waiting for EE or being asked to pair/unpair switch off/back on over and over again.

Please help

Still nothing, think I would’ve been out of a job not finding technical solutions in a timely manner. Lucky they are not in a competitive market.

I rang yesterday and was told the issue isn't down to EE its a third party that are looking into it

I’d find their level of incompetence laughable if I wasn’t directly involved.

I wonder whose fault it will be next week!

Indeed. I am fully prepared to terminate my contract on Tuesday and move to O2. I can get unlimited data for what I am paying EE and they support the watch.
It does bug me that they have taken their first payment yet have not managed to supply the service they promised. Wi-Fi calling it a requirement where I live due to poor service.

@Rapid99

I didn’t think O2 would suit me as I move between 2 locations every week. But checking now both locations are fine so I will move too. It’s always a bit swings and roundabouts with deals and how they stack up but the cost/packages look very similar but of course the huge difference is: EE Doesn’t work for watches!!!!

Just to update. Still not working for me so it looks like I’ll be leaving the contract tomorrow and moving to o2.

@Rapid99

Well I was promised a call today saying he wouldn’t let me down like others. Gave me his email so I could contact him as well.

No phone call.
No response to 3 emails.

Hope he’s ok

Hello @MSV-10

I am sorry to hear you have not yet received your call back.

Was a time provided for this?

Katie.

@Katie_B

Yes there was.

To be totally honest I am pretty sure it was 12:30 however it “may” have been 9:30 as my reams of paper with scribbled notes is quite extensive!

Thanks
