Hi everyone,
Need some help. I've been trying to set up my Huawei Wingle E8372 LTE using a 4GEE sim card to get mobile data on my laptop (Windows 10). I have set up the wingle alright, but I can't login into the network (I just get re-directed to a page that never loads). I can't find a way to top up my 4GEE sim either without requiring a phone number.
Anyone know how to solve this?

As you haven't yet topped up you have no credit, data add-on or pack to use any service.
Every SIM has a mobile no. To get yours just text NUMBER to 150 (it is free) from your mobile router if you can't see it on the SIM packaging.

Thanks, I'll try that.
Shouldn't I see some sort of login page for the network when I use the wingle though, regardless of whether there is credit on the sim card?

Hi again,
So I got the number of the sim and got to the page below. I connected the wingle and the Huawei login came up but when I click the "open network login page", it goes to detectportal.firefox.com/success.txt but never loads (or re-directs I guess in this case), which means I can't activate the sim. screenshot

Ah, yes, sorry, I remember now.
MyEE doesn't work for registering PAYG MBB devices or at least those with data SIMs. It stops at telling you to connect your device & login to it, but when you've done as instructed it doesn't have anywhere for you to say you've done it.
You may continue using your device but you just can't register it to MyEE.
Go to http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status from the device will tell you your usage.
Go to http://add-on.ee.co.uk/purchase from the device to buy add-ons.
You can use Fast Top Up online with a UK bank card.

Hi again,
Thanks so much for getting back to me.
I can't connect to those sites while using the wingle; just get a "server not found" error 😞

Hi @leahstark
Thanks for posting on the community 🙂
If you are unable to connect to the pages provided by @XRaySpeX, please get in touch with our Pay as you go Care team on 150 from an EE phone, or 0800 079 8586 from any other phone. They will help you get set up 🙂
Thanks.
Leanne.
