I have had my iphone 17 pro max for a few months now probably just before christmas if not a little bit afterwards. it was working fine, completely fine. i was playing a game on it today and it was on 1% so i thought oh i will let it turn off. then go charge it after ive watched my show. so i did so. plugged it into my normal working charger that is in fact working on all other devices, didnt charge. no battery symbol not charging sound, nothing. dead as a rock.
SO i try my ipad in the same charger and it works. i try another charger in my phone, nothing. I go in the bath come out and see if it has charged. Nothing. i even cleaned the battery hole. and nothing. I am so sick and tired of this. i have heard this is happening to multiple people and i am having to go to the store tomorrow to fix it. i swear if they charge me when it is not even my fault i will not be happy. it was working perfectly fine ALL day. including before it ran out!

Why leave it to drain to 1%.
Have you tried a soft reset after leaving it on charge for an hour. Also can you try wireless charging.
Thanks

i also let it drain to 1% because i was busy at the time. i let it all the time and i never have this problem so i expected the same, no problems.
