On a recent cruise in Montenegro 2 weeks ago,my phone was lost/stolen and I claimed on my phone insurance and received a new one on returning to the uk,today I receive a message from a restaurant in MN saying we have your phone we can post it back to you, I presume it will be blacklisted and now be the property of the insurance company so wondering what to do thanks

Hi @Treble
Contact your insurers and ask them if they want it back, if they want it posted to you then you'll need to send it to your insurers.
Thanks

Hi @Treble
It makes no difference. 99% of stolen phones are stripped for parts or the IMEI flashed with a working number.
How did they know how to contact you was your phone unlocked.
Thanks

we was sat at a outside restaurant couldnt get served so we said lets try somwhere else, and left my phone on the table walked round the corner and had that dreaded feeling so went back space of 10 mins phone wasnt there
waiters said cctv didnt cover table and nobody knew where it was ,so after a while we went put it in lock mode from my wifes phone and went back to ship
then when we got home i left a review which he wasnt happy with but replyed to my review saying we have your phone it was handed in mmmm and showed me a photo if it so im thinking because we left the table they was trying to teach me a lesson but i could be wrong
