iPhone Duo preorder expected date query

 Hi All,

I pre ordered my iPhone Duo at around 2.30pm on Friday, and have seen other people who have also pre ordered it from EE have an expected delivery date on their tracking page, however i have not been given one yet.

Is this something i should be concerned about?

and does anyone here have any ideas if i am likely to receive the phone on launch day?

Congrats to those who’ve got confirmation of delivery. 

Despite ordering at 1302 17/10 and having my confirmation email at 1303 for the 512gb black, I’ve heard absolutely nothing since! 

I’ll call tomorrow to find out what’s gone wrong but I’m strongly considering binning EE off. I pay over £300 per month for broadband and mobile plans on my account, for what!? I couldn’t have humanly placed the order any sooner and still missed the cut.

Same issue, I placed my order at 1:07pm got an email confirming it and saying launch date. Then got the text the next day, nothing wrong at all. EE have messed up big time. I wonder how many others? Seems like a major issue and unacceptable.

 Hey Folks,

I'd pre-ordered the Duo as a contract upgrade on 16th October at 3:47pm - I've been stuck at "Your order is in hand" since then. 

Would anyone happen to know when we're likely to receive these devices?

A lot of us have the same status as you.

It doesn't seem EE has any real idea at the moment as there support keeps giving us different conflicting responses.

The estimate below has come from the executive complaints team and is the most accurate as of right now,

"With regard to your device order, current information indicates that stock availability
means the expected wait time is now in excess of 28 days."

My order was placed at 13:09 on the 16th. I was given over 6 different estimates over the last week and they were all proven to be false.

Hi guys,

I ordered my Star White 2TB on the afternoon of Monday 19 October 2026, a week today, signed the contract etc but have not been given a date of delivery either.

I was told it can be up to 28 days and will receive an email to confirm date of delivery.

So I guess, just need to wait but least I’ll have it for Christmas 🤣

Does anyone know if this is progress? I've seen other people's orders where 'awaiting dispatch' isn't ticked, and it says 'order is on track' instead of 'coming soon'... Not getting my hopes up as I had the same nightmare where I ordered at 1:03pm online, and then had to speak to them on the Saturday and go through everything again.
