Hi all, can anyone confirm if they ordered/upgraded to the iPhone duo online on 16th October 2026 and have since been told that as this was online other back ground things happened meaning it wasn’t placed until the 17th? And no no idea when will be available?

Probably 2028 at this rate.

@Leonardo1981 , I believe there is a wait, as you placed your order on the 17th and it is very popular, so there is a high demand world wide for it and a shortage of these , as I have read in another thread. It will definitely not be 2028, but could take up to 28 days possibly longer before you receive your new device.
If you want to find out more, then please contact customer service, as they can take a look at your account to see how long the delay is, as they are delivered on a first come first serve basis.

Exactly in the same boat as you, it seems like EE are clueless and/or straight up ignoring that they at fault. Ordered mine at 13:01 yet im at the back of queue!

Hi
I placed my order on the 16th my email came at 13.05, thought brilliant definitely getting it launch date as email states launch date, couldn’t track and they’ve took my £300 that I’ve paid upfront. Contacted them via chat on the 21st and the advisor just spoke in jargon and was more interested in upselling but sounds like you back office order went though the next day and was told I’d get it in 21days but because they were not interested in the upsell I came off the chat.
went back onto chat yesterday to be told 28 days I mean it’s not fair given we ordered on the date and people has ordered after us don’t has received it, it’s not our fault the back office didn’t pick it up until the next day. So much for loyalty

Seems like there is a trend here… at least im not the only one.

Crazy isn't it! And they are so unhelpful… any other organisation drives traffic through their website to drive down cost - but not EE. If you use the website you are penalised without notice.
Wonder if brand new customers experience the same as existing?

I'm in exactly the same situation.
No idea when delivery will happen and a different story everytime you talk to Customer Services (i don't think anyone there knows the true situation re stock, deliveries etc).
