Hello dear Ee community people, is that time of the year again, pre ordering the new iPhones and Apple Watch and the new special edition Apple fold phone, as you all know the apple event is going on live right now and they are presenting the new iPhones and Apple Watches, I have made this thread so everyone can be updated on every single information for the upcoming days, so follow this thread and keep updated, I received a lot of views last year on my previous thread that was viewed more than 1.95000 views thank you for your support and love.

Do you think they’ll cancel the annual upgrade early fee again this year?

My AI of choice told me that EE’s systems will change the status of the upgrade from not currently available to available sometime between 12 PM and 1 PM  today.  Only 10 minutes to see if the AI made this up.

my EE device contract started on 12-08-2025, so adding 365 days will me today is day 1 of the second year of my device contract, so i should be able to get the upgrade free gratis.

 If EE’s systems tell me i need to part with a large quantity of money then I’ll be Hanging on my Telephone ☎️ 

 A bit further info. Looking at my Mobile plan my device contract started on 12-08-2025, but my Plan Contract Term started on 24-09-2025.

I wonder which date counts as the upgrade timer? 
Every year EE succeeds in giving me a bad day on iPhone pre-order day, without fail!!

 I’ll be contacting EE by phone to get my upgrade, while i wait to speak to an agent I’ll have a go at upgrading that way, but I’m expecting EE to try and charge me for the pleasure, at which point I’ll call it a day on the online form.

I'm hoping they will cancel the fee as usual. Right now, the app and web site are saying both of my iPhones are not even eligible for upgrade with a fee, which is weird as they were saying that I could do the usual £300 fee a few days ago. My other sim only line is still showing as upgradable.

maybe EE have an internal business requirement that is to “pee-off their existing customers as much as possible”?

I'm hoping it's a sign of something positive, and they've actually figured out how to remove the fee from the online system before preorders go live so I don't have to call them. I might be being too optimistic though. lol

Afternoon all. I get nervous about now, I’ve already done a dummy call to 150 three times to check what numbers I need to push etc LOL. I’ve also got the visual thing ready to go. 

really hoping I get through in under an hour when the time comes, the hold music is so bad!

For anyone else who may not know this, even though the website only shows the iphone plans....you don't have to take those. I usually end up calling and asking them to put me on the normal full works plans so I can get my xbox game pass ultimate and netflix premium for free instead of being stuck with just apple extras that I already get with the apple one premium plan.

Normally go for the PMAX but I'm tempted to wait for the Duo, obviously the PMAX is tried and tested - I just want to see how the duo holds up with all the reviewers before making the decision
