Hi new iPhone 17 not allowing out going calls ? Help !!!!

All sorted guys thanks for the help managed to get thru to EE from another phone and tech sorted it thanks again

@Joseph621  Are you using a sim or eSIM ?  Is this an upgrade?   Have you tried just restarting the device?  If it’s an upgrade and you are you using a new sim or have you put your old sim in the device ?   Does the device show that it’s connected to EE ? 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hi yeah upgrade tried turning off and back on its my old sim that im using everyting else works ok 

Is your SIM showing a connection when Wi-Fi is disabled?

When setting it up, did you choose the option to transfer your number from the old phone, or to set up later?

If you selected to transfer, this would have triggered an eSIM conversion and transfer to the new device. These can sometimes go awry and lead to the physical SIM being deactivated and the eSIM not activating correctly.

Further to the advice from @Chris_B and @Matt_124, are you able to receive calls and texts, and send text messages?

What happens when you try to call?

Hi michael cant make calls. Phone doesnt show “EE wifi calls” can receive calls and txts

Do you have WiFi Calling switched on when you look in Settings > Mobile Service > WiFi Calling @Joseph621?

When you try to make a call what happens? Is there an error heard or seen?

What about sending texts? Is that working?

Yeah WiFi calling on I’ve tried resetting. It just sits on the number but doesn’t ring. Doesn’t deliver txts

Did the tech guides say what it was, or how they fixed it? It may help someone else if they have the same thing happen and find this thread.
