Which combined discounts? I was told I can only receive the £20 off for having EE broadband and being a customer for 15 years doesn’t make you eligible for any more discount on top of that? He said they can’t combine discounts

EE just called me back, they forgot to process my trade in. The guy who did my upgrade earlier was really nice and advised their systems are now down and they’re now having to tell customers to call back in 2 hours for upgrades! Feel for those of you who are still trying. Generally thought it would be easier this year but those pesky EE system gremlins just wont go away!

Good luck if you’re still trying to place an order.

I'm not at liberty to say unfortunately, but trust me when I say what the agents tell you they can do vs what they can actually do are two completely different things.

This of course doesn't mean just because they can, they will. They have policies to follow and can face severe reprimands for not following policy.

My case is unique and not representative of the general customer.

I was even told I had to pay a £6 delivery fee 😓

first time I’ve been charged for delivery on a pre order for an iPhone.

Spot On. I feel some of the agents are just playing silly games and pushing their ego rather than actually help and do what they know they can! They forget it’s the customers who contribute to their income! I believe they’re also targeted for upgrades add ons and no discount etc. So if you happen to get through to someone who is target driven, it will be a challenging conversation to say the least. They also know, hanging up and calling back means a longer delay in the process just to get an order in!

That's normal aha 🤣 at least in my experience

I've had to pay that every year, but hey if it means we get DPD every year for delivery Im more than happy to pay a premium.

Imagine free delivery with Yodel or RM... 🤣

Annoying but true mate! Also great to see you again! How's your ultra been treating you? Just got an Orange Magnetic strap for my Black Ultra 2 in prep for my Halloween-themed 17 Pro 🤣

Got quoted £180 upfront for the 1TB model even on my stupidly high £124 a month plan and no discounts. Ended that call as I’ve never had an up front fee on any of my yearly anytime upgrades. I’ll try again later
