Hello again, everyone! 

It's Techtember, and we all know that means new iPhones!
We have an exciting lineup this year! Newly redesigned Pro Models and the all-new iPhone Air!

Just like last year, let's use this thread purely for Tracking Preorders and any relevant discussion around them.

Anyone else ordered on presale day and still waiting for their new phone? What a joke, to be told i’d get it on the 19th after ordering it on the 12th and still waiting!!

My wife pre-ordered the 17 Pro Max 256GB Deep Blue on the 12th around 2pm and got an order confirmation the 15th. As of writing, her order status is still Awaiting Confirmation. Myself on the other hand had my 17 Pro 256GB Cosmic Orange pre-ordered over the phone on the 13th and got mine on launch day at 10am. Funny enough, I purchased AirPods 4 ANC in the EE store in Exeter on the 20th around midday and out of curiosity I asked about the new iPhones and they said they have limited stocks of both 17 Pro and Pro Max models.

What is the point of pre-ordering online if SLAs and stocks are not even forecasted properly?

I have worked with other international Telcos before and most of the time the error in delayed delivery is in order processing. Pre-orders are regularly done by a back of house team and any slight error can cause the delay on fulfillment or dispatch despite the order pushing through the system where it gets stuck in transit unlike those which are done by reps in stores and over the phone where you get real time updates and has a higher success rate.

I been ordered new iPhone 17 pro max since last week 17 September 25 and I been tracking my order since until now 22 September 25 still not received yet but in my tracking said will deliver it in 24 hours please help me out for an answer thank you.

I’m waiting on a Pro Max 256GB cosmic orange, only had my acknowledgment so far and nothing else.

I ordered from Apple directly on got mine on release day but EE shouldn’t be telling anyone they will get on release day as the don’t know how many iPhones apple will alocate to them of each colour or configuration till last few days before release. It’s same story every year not just with EE. They all say this and that but it doesn’t happen with a lot of people. They would be better just saying you’ll get it when you get it so people like you don’t get annoyed and frustrated with them when it doesn’t show up when they told you it would.

So the first come first served is nonsense as I’m waiting the same phone as you but I ordered the day before 😔 I did it online though. I won’t do that again in the future!

Hi All

Just got off the phone from customer service,

The have told me that the new tracking update "Order is on track", basically means that the device has reached the warehouse but has not yet been picked up by DPD. So fingers crossed that anyone who got that update today, hopefully it will be soon!!!

Last Thursday, I was told that my iPhone was already in the warehouse and would be dispatched soon. Yesterday, I received an email stating that my order was “on track.”
