Warranty query

I have two contracts with EE, one of which is my daughter's iPhone 15. I started this iPhone 24 month contract in February 2024. Today her phone suddenly died. It is totally unresponsive, despite attempts to reset it and charge it.

Would this be still covered under the normal manufacturer's warranty through EE?

If she decided to upgrade and start a new contract, would EE waive the remaining £300 of her current contract as a gesture of good faith bearing in mind the above?

Thanks!

It would be covered under EE's extended warranty for Apple devices.

I'm afraid you would need to go through the usual warranty process though by sending the phone off for repair via EE's repair service.

A warranty claim cannot be used to waive any early upgrade fees, only to repair the current device and then this device can be upgraded in the last 30 days of the minimum term as usual.
