Phone XR backorder

On the 10th I upgraded to an iPhone XR. I was told it would be next day delivery. However, it's shown as a back order despite paying £7 to have it delivered next day. Does anyone know how long on average it would take to be delivered? I have no form of contact with my current phone as it's broken and I need a mobile to receive calls from employers. If it helps its blue 64GB

This particular model and colour are available to order and dispatch to be expected within 28 days. 

 

As soon as your new phone is ready for delivery you will be notified.
