Ordered an iPhone last night, no update

I placed an order on an iPhone with SIM last night at 7:39 pm, paid the money towards it which was taken out of my bank account, but I haven’t heard anything since receiving a confirmation email. I went in-store today ,and they have the phone in stock. I’m wondering if I have to wait for another email/sms to go and collect?

Welcome to the community,

You will receive notification from DPD up to the evening before delivery and another one on the day of delivery with a one hour window. If you have not already done so please download the DPD app and register with the same details as EE have, you will receive a PIN number, which you will need to show the driver in order to receive your device.

It will be delivered to your home unless you specifically asked to have it delivered to the store.

 

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

I specifically asked for in-store pick up. How will I find out when it is ready for pick up?

@Mopey , the store should notify you, but you can also ring the store to see if it has been delivered.

Ok, I’ll wait for a bit to see if I get an email. If not, I will contract the store.
