My saved message has disappeared

I had a voicemail on my iPhone from my nan that I went to listen to again and it’s not on my phone for some reason. I haven’t deleted it as it was special to me. Is there a way it can be retrieved??

Are you using regular voicemail or iOS visual voicemail?

 

If regular voicemail, saved messages are retained for 7days before being deleted - there is no way to recover a message after that.

 

I don't know about visual voicemail.

@bristolian , @MichelleTarr , visual voicemail do not get deleted unless you delete them, and even if you delete them, they go to a deleted folder until you delete them.
