Audio problem on iPhone

Hi there. I’m having sound problems on my iPhone 16 plus. So when I try to record a video on snap chat or tik tok or a video call on what’s app, the sound is all distorted and fuzzy. But if I do a video call on FaceTime or record a video on my normal camera option, the sound is fine. It just seems to be on my apps!? I’ve tried restarting the phone, updating apps, checking the mic settings on the apps, checked that the haptics are turned on.  But nothing is working! Please help

If the troubleshooting you've done already has not fixed this for you, have you tried backing up all data and factory resetting the iPhone?
