I've been paying for an EE apple watch data subscription for 13 months now but have never been able to get it to work when I don't have the phone with me.
The watch and phone are paired but when I dont have the phone with me the watch won't let me make or accept calls and has no data.
The watch says it has the EE mobile data plan but under status says 'No Connection'.
How do I get the data to work on the watch?

Welcome to the community,
Have you made sure that your phone is switched on? If phone is switched off, then the watch will not have a connection, so phone must always be switched on for the watch to work, even when the phone is not with you.
If that is not the case, have you tried unpairing it and then pairing again? You will have to add your data again, of course.

@piupiutoo Is cellular data enabled on the watch ? Open the control centre and make sure it’s on.

Cellular data is enabled on the watch and under Settings > Mobile Data it says Mobile Data ON, Plan EE, Status No Connection or Loading.
I spent TWO HOURS on the phone to EE support the other day who removed the data plan and then re-added it. They told me it would take up to 4 hours to connect. That was 48 hours ago!!!!
Beyond frustrating. Meanwhile I have been paying for a data plan I can't use for MONTHS!
EE - surely there is someone in your support that knows what they are doing?

Hi @piupiutoo.
The Technical Support team have diagnostic tools and tests to go through in these circumstances. Hopefully the latest attempt fixes it within the timescale quoted.
If not, I would recommend getting in touch with them so that they can carry on investigating.

I have the exactly same problem,
i keep getting the watch saying no Sim and no connection.
both mine and my sons, which is annoying as i'm paying for both to be on a unlimited tariff.
