AirPods Pro 3 order delayed

Hi, I ordered the AirPods Pro 3 on the 1st of October to be added to my pay monthly bill which had an expected dispatch time of 7 days, checked the status again this morning and all it says now is “Sorry, your order is delayed. We’ll email you once it’s dispatched”

I specifically chose EE/this option because at checkout it said they’re “usually dispatched within 7 days”. Is there a problem with my order specifically or is there a delay/backlog? It’s quite disappointing and I’d really appreciate a timeframe if possible so I can decide whether to cancel and buy somewhere else.
