new phone blacklisted

My new pixel has never worked with my ee sim , i had issues from day 1 , tbh i gave up in the end as im not a patient person , anyways i thought i would give it another try , no sim card would work on it , even though its unlocked , so i did a blacklist check , 2 actually , and it is confirmed as blacklisted , why / how did this happen , and how on earth do i get this unblacklisted?

probably worth mentioning it was bought directly from EE 

Worth checking within the SIM Settings that it's actually set to Physical Sim rather than an eSim.

 

If the above doesn't work and regarding the Blacklist, weird one, you would need to talk to EE Customer Services on that one.
