Unbelievably rude staff

Went into the Lincoln store today as my Pixel 7 Pro on contract from EE has developed and annoying fault on the always on display. I was greeted by a staff member who took one look at the phone and said it was nothing to do with EE. What did I expect them to do and suggested I should go away and call Google.
