Samsung A30e keeps saying no SD card

My phone keeps saying SD card has been taken out and to restart it, when clearly it hasn’t.   It went for repair yesterday, but they couldn’t find any hard ware problems, so they updated software.  Problem is still persisting.  Any ideas?

@Ju42   Can you try a different SD card ?
Can you save the information from that SD card and then reformat that SD card ?

Ive just ordered a new SD card, but not sure how to save data from old,
reformat new and then move data to it. Sorry!

Hi @Ju42,

Do you have another device with an SD card reader you could test the card in?

James

Unfortunately not, I have now ordered a new so card.

Let us know how you get on with the new SD card @Ju42

Leanne 🙂

New Sim card came and fitted but it still randomly tells me I've taken it
out and to restart the phone!! Can't think of anything else to do now!

Hi @Ju42,

Are you making sure the card is fully inserted?

James

Yes I have checked the card is in place and secure. Strangely it will
tell me the sd card has been unexpectedly removed when it's sitting next to
me on the desk, it hasn't moved and I haven't touched it!

Hi @Ju42.

Since you've now tried two SD Cards, it's likely that the problem lies with the phone.

Where did you take it for repair?

You could try speaking to Samsung directly.
