New Google Pixel phone not recognising correct pin number

I have just received my upgrade today and my phone started to not accept my  correct pin. Eventually after loads of tries of the same pin, it accepted it. I went onto setting and made sure it was the correct pin. Now, when trying to get into my phone, it won't accept the correct pin at all. Is this some error with pixel phones? how do I sort this?

Electronic devices don't randomly decide whether to accept a correct PIN/password or not.

Perhaps there is a screen fault with your device, that when you're pressing one number - another is being accepted.
