Mobile phone ee

Hi my mobile phone will not allow me to calls or texts. Saying no network available. Everything else seems to work. I've tried restarting phone and sim card.

Does your sim card work in another phone? 

What kind of phone are you using? 

Does your phone show a signal at the top of the screen?
