I would like to block 5G. It causes connectivity issues when the phone, a Google pixel 9a, is trying to find a signal, so the signal drops while, or until, it finds a 4G one. This searching is causing delays when on calls or using data, and I'm sure it is draining the battery. I spoke on the phone to ee tech support a few days ago, they recommended contacting google. But online searches suggest that if the option to switch to 4G isn't available in the phone's settings, then it is likely the operator has locked it to force 5G. Is the 'operator' ee? Anyone help?
