The box has a twin tuner so you can record two different channels but if you want to watch another that would be three channels. So you can record two or record one and watch one, or record two and watch another but not through the box.

Hi @bevpaul  i suspect you have opted to have your Box Pro setup in IPmode rather than have an aerial connection. So in doing so you are restricted to having two (EPG) channels in use at one time. So in setting two recordings at the same time those are the two channels your box will allow you to watch. if you opt to select to watch a third channel you would be required to stop one of the recordings .

In IPmode on the Box Pro EETV still allow you to record BBC programming but no longer allows you to play those recordings as it directs you to the IPlayer which may or may not have the programme to watch. So suggest you consider adding BBC programmes to watchlist rather than record.

@Garff1e the Box Pro has 4 tuners for Freeview reception so if you are in aerial mode you can certainly increase the number of recordings and you can play back BBC recordings The subscription channels  still have the two concurrent limit .
