Hi - I've recently switched from Virgin to EE for a number of reasons
Set up the main box - no major issues - somewhat different to Virgin who we've been with for nearly four decades (been with EE on the mobile (when it was Orange) so also a long time.
Tonight has been the first time I've had chance to look at the second box - which I was led by EE to believe you could access recordings from the main box - maybe I should have done a bit more homework - unfortunately, this seems not to be the case - really p*ssed with EE - our Virgin went off yesterday - my partner is a "recorder" - it doesn't bother me, but it does him
Any advice (apart from telling EE they wrongly enticed me in with that little snippet or misinformation
TIA
Sue

Hi @suew51
Welcome to the community.
The second box doesn't allow you to access the recorded programs from the main box. If you were told differently, I recommend speaking with our customer support team, so that they can look into this further and try to find a solution for you.
Please keep us updated on what happens.

Hi - yes, I spoke to someone at EE yesterday, I can't say I was overly happy about it - but they have given us a "get out of jail free card" should we decide to use it
ETA - you used to be able to do this, but it was stopped for certain reasons
