Hello, in the past I've subscribed to Netflix and NOW Movies separately. Recently I agreed to a new TV package that includes Netflix and NOW Big Entertainment, which was fine as I use the NOW Movies quite often. However, I did mention that I probably wouldn't use the Big Entertainment part and was told it's a better deal... so went ahead. A couple of weeks ago I realised that we wouldn't be able to watch a certain sport on normal TV so I contacted EE to see if I could rearrange my package. We did this by switching the NOW Big Entertainment to HBO/TNT Sport (£10 cheaper too) but then I noticed a week later that I wasn't able to use NOW Movies which I thought was a separate add o to NOW Big Entertainment. I've just checked all the options to try and add NOW Movies on as a standalone app, but the package choice is very restrictive so I can't. My only option would be to switch back over when I've done watching the sporting events I like each year, but then not watch any movies (other than Netflix) during that time.
This got me thinking about how it may be better for EE to let customers Mix n Match the apps they want to include themselves instead of only having about 3 combinations to choose from. My preference would be to have NOW Movie (only), Netflix, and a Sport channel in one package that doesn't have loads of other stuff I just wouldn't benefit from, or cost the earth each month! Anyone else feel the same... or know if this is possible to do already, before I make another 45 minute phone call to EE? Many thanks...

I'm not sure why you couldn't add NOW Movies to your package via the EE web site, but if you add it via the NOW app or web site, it'll automatically appear on your EE bill.

Hi, it doesn't appear as an option unfortunately. If you're able to do that, then I wonder if this is down to the EE app not working properly, as it's never been much good in the past...

It would be Now Cinema not Movies, and have you tried adding it via the Now website with the same email address that you have registered with EE when you had the Big Entertainment package?
To do it directly through the EE app click on manage at the bottom of the screen, then TV and sport along the top then get extras along the bottom and it allows you to add Now Cinema for £9.99 per month.

It was called NOW Movies when they started, that's how long I've been with them Lol... but no I haven't tried doing it via the NOW app. I have seen the options to add it as an extra on the EE app, but not into my TV package which would be cheaper. I really don't want to be paying £60-80 per month just for 2 film subs and Sport if I can avoid it... but thank you.

Prices aren't any cheaper in EE TV packages @SBudd1 - the add on is the same price no matter how you add it.

I was shown a breakdown of a package and it was cheaper, but as this is only causing frustration I think I'll just DIY it later! Thanks for your input though...
