My EE remote will not connect to the TV.
I've done the home+7 and +9 option.
I've reset everything, unplugged everything.
It's set up for TV and not Top Box.
I can't control TV volume or change TV input source

Could you please check that screen again - the firmware on your remote showed as being on v2.001 which is a little out of date. I'm hoping it will have updated by now.

I've just been informed that there are 2 versions of the EE TV remote - there's a different chipset inside. v2.001 is the latest version for the other chipset to the remote I have.
The way to confirm that it's definitely the latest is to launch any app on the TV Box, and then hold down the back button on the remote. If the app quits, it's already running the latest version.

Yep did that and worked out for the latest version
Still can't get it to connect to TV though, currently have 2 remotes on the go 😞

I think that the TV on/off is an HDMI-CEC function. It might be turned off on your TV. Look in the TV settings to check that is turned on. The TV doesn't come on immediately with the box. You need to wait a few seconds for it to switch.
The TV volume adjustment is done by the box remote's IR function. You can check whether yours is working by pressing the volume up or down button while pointing it at a smartphone camera.

Its the old Virgin remote which worked perfectly 😉 as that was set up as HDMI-CEC etc to only have 1 remote lol, so I know it works fine. Just can't get the EE to configure yet, appreciate the input 🙂

CEC should work whether the remote is paired or not. Something strange is going on.
